Primary Polishing
ABRACLOTH
A hard, coarse wave synthetic material for intermediate grinding, and primary polishing. Use with 15 or 9 micron diamond.
DURA SILK
For coarse polishing and difficult tough materials eg. titanium, super alloys, etc. Use with 3 or 6 micron diamond.
NYLAP CLOTH
Hard napless, long life for pre-polishing all materials. Use with diamond abrasives 6-15 micron.
PLANOCLOTH
Chemotextile oil, water and alcohol resistant for flat andrelief free specimens. Use with diamond abrasives 3 micron and larger.
PLANOCLOTH H
Perforated chemotextile oil, water and alcohol resistant. For rapid stock removal from hard materials, producing flat, relief free specimens. Use with diamond abrasives 6 micron and larger.
Final Polishing
ALPHACLOTH
Versatile cloth, synthetic short nap fibres bonded to a woven cotton backing. For all final polishing using diamond, alumina or silica abrasives of 1 micron or less.
CASHMERE CLOTH
The softest virgin wool cloth specially prepared to produce flat, polished surfaces using diamond or oxide abrasives of between 15 and 1 micron.
CHEMICLOTH
MEMPHIS CLOTH
Heavy duty with medium nap, for final polishing using diamond 3 micron or less.
MULTICLOTH
With very short soft nap, for final polishing with diamond and oxide abrasives.
TROUNOIRE
Dense short napped cloth for final polishing 6-1 micron.
